The right of SPb CCI to do appraisal is established in accordance with the article 15.1 of the Federal Law No. 135-FZ dd. July 29, 1998, “On appraisal business in the Russian Federation.”

There are seven certified appraisers on staff, all of whom are members of self-governed entities:
The non-commercial partnership ‘Self-Governed Interregional Association of Professional Appraisers’, reg. No. 1 dd. 26.06.2007 (SMAOs) and the non-commercial partnership‘Self-Governed organisation ‘National Board of Professional Appraisers’, reg. No. 0006 dd. 19.12.2007 (NKSO).

The civil liability of appraisers is insured by the Informstrakh insurance joint-stock company (Moscow); the policy is for an insured amount of 30,000,000 (thirty million) roubles.

Following a certification check of the appraisal business of the Chamber, the service certification body of RF CCI issued a Certificate of Conformity No. 7819.С.021 dd. 07.08.2006, ‘Systems of voluntary certification of services of value appraisal for civil right objects.’

Services of value appraisal for civil right objects were included into the Certificate of Conformity of Quality Management Sys-tems of SPb CCI to the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 and GOST R ISO 9001—2001, which was issued by the Russian Marine Registry of Navigation.

The department does all types of work on appraisal of:

• business;
• real estate;
• transport vehicles;
• machines;
• damage;
• equipment;
• industrial products;
• collateral at lending;
• intellectual property;
• food products.

The basic purposes of independent appraisal are:

• for customs purposes;
• for book keeping;
• for presentation to tax authorities;
• for obtaining bank loans against collateral of property;
• for taking managerial decisions;
• for contributing property to the authorized capital.

To order an appraisal, send an APPLICATION to the appraisal department signed by the head of your company, which
must state:

• the appraisal object;
• the goals and objectives of appraisal;
• the appraisal date;
• your address and bank particulars;
• a contact person and phone number.

Both individuals and legal entities may apply for appraisal.
